The mother's genes represent the "norm", while the father's genes represent "deviation". By combining them, you get a probability cluster for potential children.

Women cluster around their ethnic averages, while men flesh out the exceptionally good and the exceptionally bad. Natural geniuses and absolute morons are both overwhelmingly male.

This study's claim is so obviously false, virtually everyone has anecdotal evidence to the contrary.
