My parents divorce when I was young more or less ruined my life.
Whenever I imagined starting a family of my own, I remembered the divorce. And even if I found a good woman to marry, the whispers of her friends could put a messy end to it.

Become Catholic. Marry a Traditional Catholic woman. They only surround themselves with other Traditional Catholic women, and they all believe they will likely go to Hell if they divorce their husband (which is probably true). This is the way.
Good advice but this advice applies to other denominations as well. The real key is getting you wife surrounded by people that don't believe in divorce and believe in keeping the community together.

Why bother?
Unless the balance of power shifted i can't see marriage as a beneficial move for a man with assets
