Imagine? I worked for an international Fortune 100 conglomerate in the late 2000s and it was already like this. One manager was female, the department head was a bantu, the team was 50% female and it looked like a United Colors of Benetton ad, and I was the only one who knew how to use the equipment until I made an internal wiki with all the documentation I could find (had to scan old documents for legacy hardware, some I could find PDFs from the manufacturer or crowdsourced websites) then made simplified operation instructions for them. Though I was making $40/hr second job out of college.
