I know we mostly like to post memes and news articles lately, but with the confluence of things happening lately, I thought it a proper time to remind y'all to stock up on any essential goods, like food, water, water treatment, medication/medicine, batteries, candles, ammo, pet food, etc.

The economic collapse is looming, and we have conflicts escalating in the UK and the Middle East. I'm not sure if the UK stuff with peter out or spread (it certainly has the potential to, given what the West is facing), but the Iran/Lebanon vs Israel war will most likely spread, and make getting supplies harder. Also, the 2024 "election" will introduce its own problems. We all know from the Covid shenanigans how getting supplies can become nearly impossible for long stretches at a time (LOL toilet paper).

So, stock up, tribe, train, and God bless!

Yep, and for those who still don't know, use the website AmmoSeek.com to make your ammo purchases. You can sort by caliber, manufacturer, grain/weight, bullet type, shipping cost, and more, and it will sort the results based on cheapest price from all online sellers.

I got a 1000 lumen weapon mounted light recently and put it on an AR pistol and put a few mags through it on my 50 m range a few nights ago. It was an excellent experience, only problem is I now think I need one on every gun before the troubles start.

I'm still undecided on weapon mounted lights. What're your arguments for them? Do you think night time fighting would be common enough within illumination range of your weapon light? Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

I have lights on all my guns except my lightweight concealed (but I'm going to put a light and red dot on that too, since I carry it the most). I live in the country with coyotes, bears, mountain lions, etc. My dogs will go nuts periodically when a predator is around the livestock, and it's real nice to just grab my AR and have a light ready to go. Streamlight with a pressure switch for my support hand, then I'm able to locate, identify and neutralize in one fell swoop without having to look for a flashlight or have my support hand full with a flashlight. For the two-legged predators, most of my lights have a strobe function as well, which is incredibly disorienting. If someone means harm, they're not going to be able to get an accurate shot off with that shining in their face.

Either way, even handheld, a light is going to illuminate their intentions. You shine a light on somebody lurking around, there's no harm done to them, but then they have a choice to either show they're not a threat or they're going to attack you, and then you've got the jump on them. If I've got the light on my gun, they're gonna have a bad day. I'd suggest you check out Active Self Protection on YouTube as well. Those guys are legit and have some good advice.

Fair enough. I mostly prefer headlamps. It allows me to shine lights on things without flagging them with my weapon. It also frees my hands, being able to illuminate things without having to hold something, which is really handy in the bush at night.

I give it a 50/50 chance of a major false flag happening at the Olympics.

If they were gonna bomb the israeli team they would've done it by now

They need to get their money's worth first. If this happens at all, it will be toward the end of the Olympics.

I dunno, the future just seems like a slow drip drip drip of fake and gayness. I would not expect anything major to happen other than slow decline.

Stock up by all means, I know I am, but really, the whole world is too fake and gay to do much shocking.

I wish I wasn't a broke ass college idiot. I graduate in the fall at least, but my CS degree is going to be useless so I'll have a hell of a time trying to find any ways to make decent cash.

I'd take a flat out broke man who is good and willing over the wealthiest man alive with all the toys who won't lift a finger. Be as much as you can, and good people will see your value, beyond any monetary wealth. In fact, it will help you weed out many of the bad people in your vicinity, those who've swallowed the lie that money is the highest pursuit. They're servants of Mammon (satan), and can't be trusted.

Why? Maybe it's time to do a little border hopping refugee asylum seeking. Pretend you're from Latin America or something.

I said this to someone else here, but I'll repeat the sentiment. A flat broke man that's good and willing is infinitely more valuable than the richest man on earth with all the toys who won't lift a finger. If you make up for what you lack, good people around you will see your value, beyond your monetary value. Being broke can also help you weed out the corrupted from your life, people who've bought into the jewish lie that money is the highest pursuit.
