Keep in mind, a bit of a whitepill: this is *northern Ireland*. It's the most batshit insane schizo part of the west.

The northern Irish have *never* been people that have taken kindly to being trampled upon and they never will be.

Right wing death squads have *already happened* in NI, recently. They still exist, they're just underground. This shit might get them out of their hidey hole to fuck things up majorly. They also never had a problem killing British Army and police, either. Neither side, republican or loyalist. Ironically, the loyalists slotted more British army overall during the troubles than the Republicans.

Hopefully the situation escalates, i'm too jaded to believe we'll see a major revolution in our lifetime but who knows... i might be suprised still.
