I do not think it will be a subverted Modernist Catholicism (namely because Modernism is on its way out, the Gates of Hell cannot prevail over us, it will perish with the boomers) that forms the basis of the Antichrist's mock religion, but rather zionist pre-millenial dispensationalism (and I would argue zionism is already the antichrist's religion in a way, it has turned Protestants from the worship of Christ to the worship of the Illegitimate State of Isntrael). While pre-millenial dispensationalism is dying off in most of america (and Traditional Catholicism is rising at such a rate our (((overlords))) are trying to suppress it), its actually on the rise in south america and Africa thanks to dispensationalist boomer "missionaries", who spread their heresy amongst the unsuspecting like Locusts devouring a field of grain. And of course, pre-millenial dispensationalism (or being an adherent of Modernism, but Modernists are basically identical to the dispensationalist at this point anyway) is basically a requirement to work on the faux-Right of the D.C. swamp, meaning it aint dying out there any time in the future.
Of course, I cannot claim to make any sense of Revelations or predict the future, especially since a lot of the whole Revelations narrative already came to pass in some form after Jesus' resurrection. Some of the events of Revelations are spoken of by St John in the past or present tense (like the the locusts from the pit, who were probably a figure for their Romans and their siege and sack of Jerusalem, or the antichrist and 2nd beast, who were probably Nero and Simon Magus, respectively).
