Yep jew york has a notoriously bad sewage system. Very old, underdimensioned and not maintained. Their steam pipe network is a mess too with leaks allover the city, instead of fixing them they just put some cones there hoping that nobody push them over and fall into the hole only to get boiled alive.

They mix raw sewage with drainage water and was one of the first cities to have water closets, now they try to install low flush toilets, but that will clog their pipes because they were built for 5 gallon flushes not 1/4 gallon flushes. Don't think they have any sewage treatment at all, because if they did they would try to filter all the water, and there wouldn't have been any pollution, yet their rivers are all polluted and full of raw sewage.

Also notice how jew york often gets flooded. Every time there's a normal rain storm they get flooded with raw sewage. Especially low neighborhoods, the metro trains and the jew tunnels.
