They are *literally* brown jews. Some poster on here indicated both they and the jews are 50% Canaanite (which I definately want a source for, because thats the smoking bullet against Christian Zionism, if they arent even real Jews), and in the Bible, Ishmael,who muzzies recognize as their Patriarch, was Israel's uncle. So they and the jews are quite literally related regardless of whether or not they jews are lying about their patronage.
