'Satan' and 'Lucifer' are biblical characters, but the prototype predates all three abrahamic-based 'religions'. I tracked it all the way back to Sumer, once upon a time, and that is just only as far as I took it. My guess would be it far predates Uruk as well.
All the 'holy' books of the jews, xtians, and islamaholics contain massive plagiarisms from other sources, either reworded or entirely reworked to suit their purposes.
