I don't even agree with most of this. It reads like there is some residual libertarianism in his mind, e.g. power aversion and a rigid elite-people dichotomy, that needs to be rooted out in order to become truly counter-revolutionary.
> they care solely about power
No. Power for them is clearly a *means* to attempt realizing irrational 'ends', e.g. 'true freedom' or 'true equality'. One of the main characteristics of Leftist 'ends' is that one never actually arrives at them, but they are always held to be somewhere in the visible distance. Mirage-like, the 'ends' keep moving further away the closer that one attempts to get to them.
For reasons that should be all too obvious, the notions of 'true equality' and 'true freedom' are unattainable, which makes the pursuit of them wholly irrational. 'True freedom', for instance, can only be held by someone or something akin to a God. Unfortunately, it does not stop humans from irrationally trying to get as close to attaining it as possible, necessitating such horrors as transhumanism, transsexualism, and every other attempt at transcending human limitations, at transcending nature's limiting of human freedom. A Leftist meme that someone reposted here recently framed transsexualism as 'hacking' biology. Whilst the notion that they can change sex is obviously delusional, making humans 'freer' by transcending the sex binary is indeed what they really *think* that they are doing.
One irony here is that Man's persistent want to tamper with nature or to 'transcend' nature in order to realize unprecedented levels of freedom and equality is itself naturally determined, and so Man is not really transcending anything by pursuing such things.
Since they never arrive at their 'ends', they simply declare the previous set of Leftists 'sellouts', 'traitors', 'revisionists', 'fascists', &c. The next set of Leftists proceeds to take things to a new extreme. There are always new -centrisms, new -isms, new -ists, new -phobias; there are always new enemies of freedom, equality, and progress who need to be dealt with first. This is in part the reason for the murderousness of the Jacobins, the anarchists, and the Marxists. Each subsequent set of Leftist is dissatisfied with the level of equality, freedom, &c. that his father's generation attained; still feeling oppressed, unequal, unfree, he takes things further in the direction of extremism and insanity.
This is easy to see when we reflect on how the Soviet Union looks conservative by the standards of 2023, when it was radical by the standards of 1923. Today's Left has gone far beyond the pursuit of economic and racial equality, to the pursuit of much more extreme forms of it.
Notice that it is also easy to see this when we make observations in the opposition direction. Those Marxist talking heads, such as Hinkle or the degenerate Maupin, who preoccupy themselves with economic equality and with anti-capitalism, are simply thought of as 'conservative' or 'fascist' by today's Left.
Today's 'Right-wing' is by and large composed only of yesterday's Left-wing. This is one reason for which why the 'Right-wing' never win: America's 'Right-wing', for instance, constantly spews MLK's talking points and only offers a less extreme Leftism rather than a real alternative. Resetting Leftism to an earlier iteration of itself is a band-aid solution, that is, ultimately a *non*-solution.
> think they are on the same team as those in power
No, they aren't *aware* of that at all. It is the case that the political classes are composed of older versions of themselves, but they clearly do not know that.
Firstly, they *always* believe that older versions of themselves are 'Right-wing'. This is because they actually are, albeit only relative to their younger counterparts. This process repeats each generation.
Secondly, they *always* believe that they are powerless, oppressed, victims, &c. This means that they can never accept that they're on the side of power without their worldview falling apart. For instance, if they accept that the Left run everything, then it cannot be the case that the Left are powerless, which deprives them of their victimhood status. Also, accepting that the Left run everything kills the idea that the Left is 'progressive', capable of realizing utopia and so forth, because they would have to accept that the problems of the world are of their making or at least cannot be solved by them.
As it stands, by always believing that they are powerless, they are able to do two things. Firstly, they can continue believing that they are oppressed, victims, underdogs, &c., which provides them with numerous benefits, the details of which I will not delve into here. Secondly, they can continue blissfully believing that their worldview is perfect and that it's just nasty 'traitors' and 'Right-wingers' who are responsible for all the wrongs of the world, which will be corrected once the 'true' Left (i.e. the version of Leftism to which the Leftist himself personally ascribes, which he tends to view as the one and only true Leftism whereas all others are 'fake') is empowered.
> the elites will kill them
I obviously don't believe that any postulated elite is interesting in killing Leftists. *Au contraire*, it is everyone else who they would be after.
> mindless cattle
They are, but it's for reasons that are poorly understood. Standard 'Right-wingers' assume that Leftists are just people who are mindlessly siding against their own interests, for instance, but the interests of Leftists are actually very well served by their ideology. For example, Leftist ideology provides plenty of coping mechanisms for their lack of personal qualities: the 'bourgeoisie', 'patriarchy', 'White privilege', and other abstractions are responsible for all of their shortcomings, which absolves them of guilt and responsibility for them and helps to occlude from themselves how utterly worthless they really are, allowing them a heightened sense of self-worth. Their lives would be psychologically much more difficult without the coping mechanisms which their ideologies provide and to which they desperately cling.
