The last I was able to follow the community from reddit, despite fundamentally disagreeing with td, they had given us a subforum on their forum. This was around the time of the migration from reddit.

Yes, that domain name is dead. Our registrar (NameCheap) shut it down for antisemitism and the only hope we have left is to wait until it expires next year for someone to reclaim it.
