No deal required, they can just make the software in the RFID reader dependent on a remote API that (((they))) control. Then they can monitor and ban users, and also ensure that the chips are tied to their (((banks))), without needing the store's cooperation. If you're a thought criminal or the account on your chip is not one controlled by (((them))), then the scanner simply doesn't work and you can't buy anything.

That would be the (((payment gateway))) which they control by threatening to shut the entire gateway down if they don't go (((woke))). RFID itself is a local protocol only, although with the flaw that anyone that's close enough can read the data.
This is why it's retarded to have an RFID chip in your hand, a simple handshake and someone could steal all your money. 🤡🤡🤡
All an RFID chip does is lets you read a number without touching it. The number is meaningless without the payment gateway or some other system that knows it's a bank account number and not a product code.
