The mission of Operation Patriot Trap is to collect names, alias, and associated persons. They have a sign-up sheet on their website for you to doxx yourself with your real name, address, phone and email. Then the feds can crossmatch your info against social media, where you might otherwise not express your political beliefs. They can also connect you to other actual patriots who might not have an online presence.
If they wanted, they could RICO or Patriot Act everyone associated with Patriot Trap, but that isn't the mission of that operation. It's to collect names and identify people and smaller local groups. "Patriot Front" is a huge ant bait trap.
