Exactly. You listed many benefits. Even if firearms are banned, or you have no access to ammo, if you train with this thing then any dense object because a bullet and you can easily disguise the sling or lose it or dispose of it. Easy to train, no noise and loud boom, easy to transport, can get it past security zones, etc.

Lol I was watching this plus another video on slings this morning. Good stuff. I never realized just how effective slings were.
Slingers were used in ancient warfare as skirmishers to counter enemy skirmishers and to disrupt attacking enemy formations. They fought in loose formations because of the space needed to wind up+shoot.
Best slingers of that era came from the Balearic Islands,where men there still learn+practice using a sling.
