I live in Los Angeles and I had chickens when I was a kid (LA was once very rural, believe it or not), and once I spilled chicken feed in car on the passenger side so it was all over the floor. I took care of most of it but later that night I met this chick at a party and was taking her home. She asked what the smell was and what was on the floor. Somewhat embarrassed (because this is still Los Angeles and she was a Hollywood type), I told her it was chicken feed. I expected her to be grossed out, but after a few moments she turned to me and said, "I don't know why, but that's kinda hot." I guess she was the type who wanted to roll the hay like a farmer's daughter. It caught hold of some repressed fetish in her dumb head.

So this meme isn't too far off.

Me too. If you have a good setup they're low maintenance and their eggs are 1000x better than that store bought crap. I wish I had the space pigs and cows too.
