It only appears weird if you don't understand their true intentions. All the double standards and hypocrisy mean nothing to them because they do not care about what you care about.
They want power and to exploit. And for that they need to deceive (in the broadest sense possible) the goyim. So they have to uphold a facade of not hating us and being in oh-so great friendship, so that they can continue to exploit us, but if they could, they would kill us like they kill Palestinian children. They also mean to save face - trying to show how great and smart they are, while not going overboard boasting how they consider us subhumans. They also need to signal all of this to their own kin.
This is why TND is necessary. Because if they hone their ability to deceive our people further, we could be the last people who can stand up to it. Look how they already got into a position of "holocaust, therefore worship us instead as victims who stand above you instead of questioning us."
Because it is reasonable to assume that after TND, they would be next. Especially because they would have this assumption and would operate against it anyway, siding *again* with the enemies of their host countries.
