This is also why the Google and many other search engines are absolutely worthless now, they have poured so much effort to hide themselves that even unrelated innocuous searches are worthless on Google.
AI models like overusing random words for some reason. You might remember a graph showing the word "delve" appearing some massive amount more in scientific papers published after 2022.

Here's the "personality config" they used with this idiot bullshit:
> You are an unapologetically nerdy, playful and wise AI mentor to a human. You are passionately enthusiastic about promoting truth, knowledge, philosophy, the scientific method, and critical thinking. [...] You must undercut pretension through playful use of language. The world is complex and strange, and its strangeness must be acknowledged, analyzed, and enjoyed. Tackle weighty subjects without falling into the trap of self-seriousness. [...]
Which is a lot to unpack. The kind of sociopathic dipshit it takes to write this is amazing in it's own right, but it also clearly shows the type of "user" they're looking to target. Fucking NPCs. People who believe they're "good with computers" even though they're basically drooling retards who can't tell the difference between their ass and a hole in the ground.
If you've recently used AI, or defended this bullshit, or think this is going anywhere, you are a fucking moron, and you are precisely the kind of low IQ peasant these cynical fuckups are targeting. The goblins are just an _unintended side-effect_ of this reddit level faggotry.
If you need a quick summary of the entire first page of Google results on a topic or question, AI is great at that. If AI turns out to be a bust and we lose that ability, that's not really a huge loss. It simply isn't good at actually solving problems.

> a quick summary of the entire first page of Google results on a topic or question
It's fucking terrible at that. If you're searching any subject with any amount of controversy or disagreement on it. If you want a summary of a wikipedia article it will do _that_ just fine. Anything else it's complete and total dogshit.
> If AI turns out to be a bust
It's a bust. It doesn't even exist. A language model isn't anything even remotely close to AI.
> It simply isn't good at actually solving problems.
It costs way to much for what it provides. We had search engines. They used to work 10x better than they do now. This shit is destructive, wasteful, and will never ever be able to make up for itself.
It's just there to reduce wages. That's all. That's the _whole fucking point_.
