The birth control back often would just make you permanently infertile. A woman in my church when I was a kid was sterilized from that crap. Sadly she was taking it because they sold it as a method to reduce menstrual pain and was celibate.
Her husband was a young windower with 3 girls so she could still be a mother. God gives you the path he wants for you.

My wife was given birth control for that reason as a kid. Fortunately we have 4 kids
Ironically my wife was on birth control for a but while we were married. Our sex life sucked. Once she got off, our sex life got dramatically better. She even states she finds me very sexually attractive when before she found me average. Birth control messes with women so much, its nuts it is even legal
Ive read about that before. It fucks with their pheromones so bad they are basically a different person. My wife was afraid she'd lose interest. In the long run she went with a hysterectomy since our family was the size we wanted it.
Indeed, and it's often not the path we want for ourselves but a part of life is learning the lesson that following His will makes our lives come into focus far more clearly than pursuing our own will, which is often a fruitless swim upstream.
Even so, it's still frustrating to hear stories like the woman at your church experienced. Good White women who would've made great mothers never get to hold their own flesh and blood in their arms..... and then you have millions upon millions of sheboons that murder their children by the dozen in utero- yet still shit out another 5-10 (most of whom will wind up doing 5-10) each with a different 70 IQ tyrone who will vanish into the mist for a pack of kools the moment the news arrives.
