They ostensibly open sourced the entire program, which of course won't be the published version, but someone already found out that pictures are stored on disk unencrypted if the verification fails for any reason and the only pictures which are deleted are those which result in success and even those are not deleted successfully, and some insecurities with nfc.
That was Rule #1 in my CompSci course in college. The professor left in on the board the whole semester.
