yeah that's the real problem israel has with iran. iran is larger, far more populous, more intelligent people. if isreal wasn't backed by the usa iran would be the local powerhouse. well, and turkey to some extent.
Turkey actually is the local powerhouse. They're the 8th or 9th most powerful country in the world vs Israel and Iran at 15th and 16th place respectively (though I think that these should be switched around).
Either way, turkey has more military capability than either of the other 2 countries, and that's pretty much no matter what hypothetical situation would arise. It's just that turkey never does anything with its military besides border skirmishes with kurds. They just kind of sit on their amassed power and never use it to help anyone, neither the Israelis nor the iranians. Which is disappointing, because if turkey weren't ran by sellouts and they decided to join the war on the side of iran, Israel would be wiped from earth pretty damned quickly. Even turkey fighting Israel alone would be a wipe.
The biggest difference can be seen in how turks are able to handle their resident kurdish insurgents (which are funded by israel, I consider this a casus belli for turkey to wage war on Israel but erdoğan does not) vs how Israel handles hamas. Almost entirely militants killed, very favorable k/d ratio against armed enemies, few civilians dead, insurgency basically completely defeated in 2015. Now, let's look at the idf, where everything I mentioned is in reverse.
Furthermore, I consider that Israel must be destroyed
