I had double inguinal hernia surgery last spring. I had complications from the procedure and needed to see my doctor again. His office wasn't open so the on-call nurse told me to go to the emergency room.
The emergency room in the Midwest college town where I live was newly built less than 5 years ago, but has an awful record and reputation already. Ranking 101 out of 106 ERs in the state for quality of care and length of emergency visits. Mainly because it's staffed overwhelmingly with non-Whites, foreigners, homosexuals and children not even out of college yet.
I told the on-call nurse that if I had a gunshot wound, I would rather stitch myself up or die than spend one moment in that emergency room.

I used to be a blood donor because I thought I was helping my fellow countrymen, then covid happened, and the medical, government and social establishment called me a heartless soulless monster for not bending the knee to their threats to become their little experimental guinea pig. Not to mention that I realised the blood I donated was used and sold by billion dollar pharmas to make their blood products and line their pockets. So I stopped donating and told them to fuck themselves. This is the consequences they are now reaping for turning on the people that cared about their country when noone else did, and treated them like cattle when it was convenient for them.
Ditto. My parents always encouraged the donor thing so I did when I got my licensed. I unregistered a few years ago during the coof panic.
Plus I heard about how they'll basically let you die if you're a donor which I heard as a teen and thought was BS and as an adult found out does occur sometimes. Fuck that.
In a few years they'll have to pay me $1000 for per pint of unvaccinated blood when all the jabbed start keeling over.

Public medicine works if you don't have millions of outsiders in your nation and your overall population is actually healthy (America gets the buck passed to it very often for this, and it's fair, but there are few 1st world countries that are actually healthy anymore). This also extends to boomers. They're old, but old people don't have to be as much of a drain on Healthcare as they are. You should still be healthy and physically active as you age. Boomers sit around and do literally nothing, so their sedentary lives make them sickly motherfuckers and so they're a significant drain on Healthcare.
Whole system needs to be revamped. Deport migrants and encourage (*actually* encourage) people to be healthy and then suddenly you'll stop seeing stories like this one.

I've been in the ER at times and i can wholly confirm its all fucking fat boomers
Like if these blobs didn't have healthcare they'd be dead ages ago from all the goyslop and boomervision they're addicted to consuming
Its actually pretty rare to see a boomer who isn't obese...
And this one isn't quite their fault, but boomers were also guinea pigs for food additives and environmental toxins. We still have mostly the same shit, but the thing is that now we have the ability to make informed decisions, whereas they were either not told about it or were told it was healthy, so they continued to ingest those things for their entire lives. They also got both the old age toxins that are now banned as well as the newer ones all wrapped up in one, exacerbating this issue significantly. This is one of the reasons I suspect that they're so damned unhealthy compared to both their parents and their children. Boomers lived through lead, asbestos, mass amounts of Teflon byproducts in drinking water (much more than today), smog, seed oils, preservatives in food, food dyes, the entire history of microplastics, petrochemicals, the list goes on. Several of these are problems that we don't deal with anymore or that have been reduced, but they still got the brunt of the new problems as well.
