Being far away from the destruction that you're causing dehumanizes it and makes it feel less bad on your conscious. Out of sight out of mind. If you dont see the human casualty, you dont think about it. Dropping bombs from the sky or launching missiles isn't what we're designed to do. Being detached makes you more willing to just do shit because you don't have to see people turn into piles of gore, you don't have to see people get burned alive, you don't have to see anything at all besides a couple of explosions on nondescript targets.

You *know* what you're hitting but actually seeing something is a powerful thing. Otherwise you can just imagine "well, I didn't drop the bomb that went into some family's house" or "well, this is actually a very important mission and there will be some casualties in the crossfires". If you are not looking into the faces of the people that you are killing, the human element is gone. You're bombing shapes on the ground, not people. It's a way for the sane and moral to cope with doing the insane and evil.

Furthermore, I consider that Israel must be destroyed

Screams after the bombs were already dropped, albeit.
