I forgot the specific details of how this whole debacle started, but it was something like the guy was an MMA fan and popping off on Romanian Twitter about how the female fights are so boring (entirely fair take). One of the female fighters (the short one, I believe) started picking a fight by insinuating that he was a fat slob who looked like a bowling ball (also an entirely fair take) and bragging that she could kick his ass.
The MMA organizers saw a great opportunity and said "Why don't you two settle this in the ring?" A few weeks of planning, some liability waivers, and some cash (I'm sure) later, the 2 female "pros" squared off against The Pervert (yes, that's how he was billed in the announcement, voluntarily it seems) and he flattened both of them for about twenty minutes all while having a BMI somewhere north of 40.
Highly entertaining, especially the part where the short one tries (for the tenth time) to rush him and land a meaningful hit, only for him to bop her in the face and set her nose gushing blood.
