No. Its much easier to get a gf than you think but challenging to find a good gf.
If I was you then check for Church young adult groups or singles, go to Church(check out different ones), farmers market, certain club/bars, gym, and local stores.
Most challenging part for you will be approach so just get use to asking random girls about whatever is near you such as if at Church then "im new here. have you been here before?" or if at a store then ask an employee "Do you have _?" or "Are these any good?" or if random girl and you like her shirt or something then say "Cool shirt."
After awhile then you will level up to where it becomes natural. Surprisingly just starting the conversation and asking a bit about her then most women will take over and blap which once you learn more about her then get her # if you like her
I know a fat guy for years who is in his 40s who just got married and pretty sure he never had a gf. He just said f it and started talking to random women and found a solid woman at Church
