One, this is all just a distraction from the Epstein Files (if it is, it's working). People aren't letting go of this story so they've literally gone from "they don't exist" to "here's half, don't ask for the rest". It's not so much that they don't want to name any names as it is that they don't want to mainstream concensus to become "our entire government is a group of blackmailed pedophiles", regardless of what we can prove. Hiding the actual names does little if everyone thinks that anyway so they started a war they knew would be a disaster to keep everyone looking the other way.
The other possibility is that they don't think they can put the cat back in the bag at all. If that's the case, they're using the last of their influence to draw America into a conflict that will severely weaken it and come as close as possible to destroying the last non-banked country in the ME. We might also be looking at the Sampson option here.
Not much we can do either way other than keep up the pilling and making lists of traitors in case things really do fall apart.
