Was the Iran war a major blunder?

If Iran continues to launch missiles and keep the straight closed, I don't see how the USA gets out of this war now without dramatically losing or with boots on the ground. Still, I don't see how the USA wins even with boots on the ground. The USA basically has to hope that Iran just gives up hostility now then the USA can claim they were victorious but if Iran continues with hostilities, this could prove a big blunder for the USA. Thoughts?

Me neither. I tend to think he is this retarded, but if you wanted to infiltrate the empire to commit the ultimate sabotage, this is exactly what you would do. I guess we will never know whether it was "muh 4D chess" but my vote is "that retarded."
