Was the Iran war a major blunder?

If Iran continues to launch missiles and keep the straight closed, I don't see how the USA gets out of this war now without dramatically losing or with boots on the ground. Still, I don't see how the USA wins even with boots on the ground. The USA basically has to hope that Iran just gives up hostility now then the USA can claim they were victorious but if Iran continues with hostilities, this could prove a big blunder for the USA. Thoughts?

I honestly haven't had time to look at all of the news but I think that even if we "win" this stage, israel won't stop until Persians are totally subjugated and humiliated (if not genocided) like the Palestinians.

They can barely even deal with hamas on a strip of land a couple of miles long that is literally right next to them. If Israel wants to try the same thing with Iran then I say fuck yeah, let them. They'll send an infinite number of people into a death trap.

Furthermore, I consider that Israel must be destroyed
