Gorillas are not monkeys, they’re apes.

There's actually a lot of variance between apes despite their appearance.

I think that gorillas in particular are, ironically, a very White-coded animal. They are one of the most physically powerful creatures on earth, but are largely nonviolent. If you encounter one in the wrong place at the wrong time, they'll bluff charge you, but overwhelmingly won't escalate if you signal submission and back off. They just want to protect their families and eat banana.

Chimps, on the other hand, are the proto-niggers. Savage, sadistic animals that hunt in packs, or solo if they encounter a target they believe is weak enough to not put up a fight. They'll attack anything that looks like a mark. They intentionally maim, targeting fingers, eyes, and genitals.
