There could possibly be more truth to this than it would appear.
Hebrew is one of those strange languages that sounds like little else, **except** 1) old Irish Gaelic (which led to, in part, the idea that Europeans actually are true Israelites), and 2) one of the obscure languages of India whose name I've forgotten.
