The spiritual leader of this party is Mohammad Mahdi Mirbaqiri. Mirbaqiri expressed his satisfaction with Mojtaba's election in a video. Mirbaqiri seems to have gotten what he wanted. Mojtaba thus belongs to the ultra-hardline faction. This cannot and will not please Iran's enemies. And one of the experts himself declared: "We elected the one who is hated by the enemy."
