Same here. I think people forget that many of them are 45 this year. I know a few this exact age with kids college age, and older. I know they’re far from the only ones too from attending the birthday parties of their children as they’ve aged. Lots of the kids at said parties had parents very similar ages. I think people also forget that many of the older millennials AKA zillenials who were born before 85 weren’t subverted quite the same way, and as bad as the younger ones, so they still had kids before they hit 30 unlike what we’re seeing more of today.
All of the older millennials from that gen were lucky enough to come of age in the “old world”. Those were the last years where extreme, copious amounts of social media, screens, and pornography were still rare, and hard to come by without putting in some time, and work. Even then, the pornography you’d get from shit like limewire, and such still took forever for small clips since most people were still stuck on dialup, and had to share a line at home, or go to that ones friends house who had money. On top of all that, the most extreme thing you may have run across, other than some obscure meme tier clips occasionally being talked about or passed around, was some anal sex. Shit was just so different, and better.
I always say it, and I still stand by it. 09/11 was the final nail in the coffin for this shell of a country IMHO. I know we’ve had other things since then, but the drop in overall QOL from then up to today in the things that actually matter is astronomical IMHO. Even though it wasn’t perfect by any means, I’d argue the greatest time for this country, while not perfect, and still being kiked, was the 50s to 09/11. I always say this is a big part of why so many hate on, and are jealous of the bOOmers more than any other generation.
