His domestic policy remains calamitous, but not any more than any of the other retards in the west. He at the very least is not a sellout to zionist interests, so he's head and shoulders above pretty much everyone else.

But then again, it might not really be *him* but it may be an obligation to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors and follow the general very anti Israel opinion of the average spaniard. Spain has never had positive relations with Israel. At best the relations between the 2 were neutral. It was not even recognized as a state until the late 80s. Franco, surprisingly for a US propped authoritatian capitalist, never had relations with it. Neither did his immediate successors. Even after begrudgingly recognizing it, spain was still not pro Israeli at all. Spain has always sided with the arab world. The only pro israel voice in spain is Santiago abascal (jewish controlled opposition like trump or AFD). This makes spain itself different than every other western country, but not necessarily Sanchez. Still, he deserves some credit for sticking with the trend instead of caving to the orange jew.

They had captured the older generations in the two party system [left PSOE + right PP], the stragglers have their inconsequential fringe parties that come and go [Podemos, Ciudadanos] and the regional separatists have their local separatist party in left, right, or both flavors.
I understood long ago that the voting game is rigged because only 10-15% have the capacity to think when voting. It's just football teams. And you get yours assigned at birth, because your family was on either side of the Civil War. It's all superentrenched and there is no realistic way of breaking out with some nationalist position.
