I moved about two years ago and, for the first time in my life, have hayfever.

I've tried to just endure but it's impacting my sleep and overall health. I've tried local honey and have seen minimal improvement.

I'm not in the position to just move. Any advice for other paths I can take? I don't relish the idea of spending everyday on antihistamines.

- You can build a budget air scrubber out of 20in hepa filters and a box fan. This will help immensely.

- If your vaccuum isn't hepa than its doing more harm than good. Ozone generators make vacuuming more effective and destroys most allergens. Humidifiers also make vacuuming more effective.

- Pajama ritual. Don't let the allergens that are stuck to your clothes get into your bed sheets too. Change before bed. Shower too bc its in your hair.

Ultimately, if the symptoms do not get better within a few months than you MUST MOVE. I know from experience so trust me, there are some scary long-term effects that will result if your body doesn't develope a tolerance and you choose to stay. It sucks but cancer is worse.
