the fact is if you have to state something in this manner, you're trying to force it, rather than reveal its nature. iow, if you're not an ape, simply not acting like an ape makes it self-evident.

similarly if you have to say "black lives matter" to enforce that idea, then you don't embody that idea, and it highlights that black lives do not, in fact, matter.

I am further tickled by the fact that Black people (and all other humans) *are* apes, so the sign isn't even technically correct.
