Pray. Read the Bible. Go to Church. Even if it is somewhat cucked (no women pastors though. Absolutely NOT) you can still get to know Jesus. Talk about Jesus to people just in general.

Going to Church isnt necessary when they are pits of vipers. A sermon with you reading passages to your family at home will be better than a morning listening to a heathen lady priest pretending to know God
Go to Church. And dont give up the first time. The first time going will be awkward but people will begin talking to you if you keep showing up. Many churches offer activities on other days. Try to go to them
Scripture is quite clear that we are to gather in churches for fellowship, instruction, mutual support, and reproof. If there are only synagogues of satan within practical weekly travel range, it is time to get priorities straight and move somewhere that our spiritual needs can be met.

And don't expect to become perfect. "Refrain from sin" is the goal, but "all fall short" as scripture says. Humans are fallible, but so long as you're making an honest effort, have a repentant heart, and don't give up, God's grace takes care of the rest.

Introduce yourself and invite Him into your heart.
Speak to Jesus and pray for guidance on your journey to learn about His life and teachings.
You don't need anything fancy, but I recommend finding a quite place, go down on your knees as a sign of humility before Him, close your eyes to block out all distractions and tell Jesus that you'd like to get to know Him as your Lord, your Savior, your King and your friend.
I have a small prayer station in my home for my family to use when they want a quiet place. It's just a nice wooden side table with an electric candle (so the kids don't burn the house down) and a bible and notepad, pen in the draw.
