More than likely, the jews outplayed the cartels tbh. Most people, the cartels I'm assuming also, underestimate jews and don't really realize what they're all about. Jews get into countries like Mexico and take control of both the government and the underground. The cartel guy was just a rival to be rid of. The cartels don't realize what they signed up for.
