You're right about this being the reason his jewish superdonors financed his election, but losing control of the House and Senate will result in the rest of his 2nd term being even more impotent than what we have seen so far. He's clearly fine with the trade off though, it's just surreal to see a President sacrifice his domestic agenda to such an extent. It really speaks to the leverage (((they))) have over him.
