Most enlisted have no idea what wars are about. Even the officers don't think of the big picture. Being in the military is to be isolated from the civilian world with your focus redirected on what the military needs. We were all fed the bullshit that Israel has the hottest women, that krav magra is the deadliest martial arts, the IDF is the strongest military, and that their tanks are superior to everyone else's. Seriously, those rumors are pushed onto the men.


I know of guys that were enlisted that got out and never got past understanding that liberals = bad. That's the extent of it and they don't want to think about anything else. Recently I worked with a customer in his 50's who was a truck driver in Iraq. He was spouting off about how hot Israelis are. The military didn't make him stupid, but the military does attract stupid people.


When I joined back in 2006, Iraq was a blood bath. No one wanted to go. I wanted to fight, and I did. I got to have my adventure, and then I went home. Then Obama happened, the change was immediate, the niggers in the military turned uppity. The military became hostile to white men. Well, makes one wonder who could be pushing that.
