This only happens if they have a reason to be spying on you specifically. It takes a large number of resources to pull off some of this stuff. It's not like they have every single device in the world hacked and accessible.

For example, there are iPhone exploits out there that allow whatever govt / mossad faggot to take control of your phone if they wish, but it costs millions of dollars per exploit, and every time they use the exploit, they risk losing it forever.

Yep, I read somewhere that it was something like 100k euro per device for pegasus. I'm sure CIA/NSA have their own stuff but smaller countries are buying shit from Israel on license.

Too much resources to track every single person, you'd need absolutely ridiculous amounts of storage space and bandwidth to do it.
