If they screech and kvetch about "muh bad owners" and absolutely refuse the empirical data that these animals are biologically predisposed to violence, then it's a sign they've become terminally infected with The Narrative. They'll take the core racial programming they've been installed with and autonomously apply it to anything and everything with religious fervor. You can comfortably consider them lost.
However, if someone agrees with you, or signals openness to having their mind change based on new information ("Really? I had no idea...") then there's a nonzero chance they can be redpilled on larger topics later. Some normies are actually not normies, but one of us. They just haven't been awakened yet.
