I'd say something similar too. There's only two roles to play when the cops get involved: victim or perpetrator.

The guy knew to pick up some some victim points to claim against his parents, if need be.

The zogbots that arrive won't care what the son recorded for his defense. On some level I understand the inclination but it's playing the enemy's game. By their rules.

When the game is rigged the only thing to do is flip the board.

Yep. He can claim he was held against his will and assaulted. Son tried to leave. The”dad” said no.

This is a slam dunk case in a semi sane judicial system.
