Old Star Trek was actually pretty based. It properly captured the ultimate Boomer liberal fantasy of what a Utopian society would be. Where everyone was truly equal and could excel if only they were well educated and chose to put their best foot forward. There was no "clown world" and up was still up, while down was still down. Obviously, the Boomer Utopian Fantasy is nothing but goyslop and not real but compared to what leftism warped into past the 90s, the ideal is far more based than today's reality.
It's a shame that 90% of boomers still think this Boomer fantasy of theirs can be realized if only people like Trump just stopped being mean. Boomers never seemed to learn the lesson that the fantasy they desire is nothing but a fantasy that is incompatible with reality.

Star trek was never "based", it was just that there was actually some good writing with strong characters. But at it's core it was pozzed. Both Nemoy and Shatner were jews, and Roddenberry wanted to push the envelope on homo topics, but was simply restrained by what people would accept. Did you forget the dudes in dresses in the first season of The Next Generation?
