It may just be that my palette is a lot more developed than a literal baby's, but the thought of ingesting meat puree makes me want to vomit, like that is the most repugnant shit I've seen in a while.

Disclaimer: no, I don't eat slop, I don't think babies should be fed slop. Im not against this, I just think pureed meat sounds nauseating. You can't hit ne with a "gotcha" by saying "what about x food product" because I agree with you and chances are i don't eat that either.

Hmmm, apart from that, I 100% believe that this is something that should be made at home, as with all baby food. The second thing I thought of was how disgusting the factory that produced this must have been, I would bet money that it smelled like a back alleyway in Mumbai in 120 degree swelters. For the volume produced, and considering the process used to make the product, it would have been nearly impossible to keep clean. I wouldn't want to feed my baby food that comes from this kind of place. The quality of the animals being processed also comes to mind, and I doubt that the meat that got processed down to a paste was of good quality whatsoever. How much of the protein content of this came from maggots?

Just made 3lbs of liver pate for my wife who just gave birth, it's amazing on crackers.

Well, paté is a bit different. Liver is already almost mushy anyways.

Making a paste out of any other slice of meat is just rather gross to me in any case.
