So, I basically tried to turn a hoe into a housewife, got a few kids out of her, then got full custody when she inevitably left. I've never felt bad about her, but I'll always bear at least some of the responsibility for my kids growing up without a functional mother.
But then I see stuff like this and I wonder if my way wasn't the least shitty option after all...

You can't change people no matter what someone will tell you. I wish my girl was slutty to some extent with me tho. And do t worry, raising kids as a dad is perfectly fine and grand. Single moms raising boys is the worst outcome
I disagree. You can change anyone, but only with force/violence, or at least the credible threat of it over their heads at all times. The problem is men have negative power in relationships, especially marriage today.

I'm not just saying this but from my observations, the men who tried to turn a hoe into a housewife but ended up with kids and didn't get fucked over by child support tend to be the only men I'm slightly envious of.
I'd say only like 5% of steady relationships I observe are relationships I'd be interested in and this percentage drops to like 1% when children enter the picture. There's only 1 person I know of who is in a relationship with kids I envy but there's a few guys who are single now with kids who did the hoe to housewife thing I think are doing great. Most other relationships I observe, I cringe at and would want nothing to do with.

Almost everyone I know married seems to be miserable, and it usually seem to stem from the woman being unhappy even though she’s coasting on easy mode, and she has to drag the husband down with her. TBF, I don’t know what goes on behind closed doors, but I’m guessing it’s more of the same.

In my experience most relationships are worse behind closed doors than what you observe so if you're already questioning the relationship without seeing the behind closed door, yikes...
The problem for a lot of relationships is that the woman feels like she settled. That's why she's unhappy. It's her natural hypergamy. It's extremely rare in modernity with women's access to information for any woman to be in a relationship for long and not think she deserves more. Then on the flipside, if she doesn't believe she deserves better, it's because she's ugly, doesn't care she's ugly and has given up... so the man still suffers either way because either he has a good looking woman who loathes the fact she's stuck with her husband because she thinks she deserves better or she's fat and ugly such that the man is upset she let herself go.
Yeah, I see way more women who weigh significantly more than the men they are with. Even if they’re both fat, the guy is usually fat while the woman is obese to morbidly obese. I’d be embarrassed to go out places with my wife if she was obese. It’s disgusting, and the people we surround ourselves with are a reflection of ourselves IMHO. I couldn’t imagine being intimate with someone so unhealthy both physically, and mentally. Let’s be honest though, most of those women aren’t trying to have sex anymore anyway.
