Modern jews are descendants of the Edomites and their ancestor Esau, they aren’t from the Israelite branch, so they aren’t “jews” in the sense that everyone considers the Israelites to be jews …..Isaac had twin sons, Esau and Jacob, Esau was the elder son by seconds, and therefor made him the most likely to inherit the Abrahamic blessing from Isaac. Early in the brothers lives, the boys father Isaac favored Esau because he was the first born male, he was a great hunter and because he said all the right things to sound righteous in order to gain his father’s favor, but it was a grift, Esau wasn’t righteous, he only sought to secure his inheritance. Jacob on the other hand was truly righteous, and in the end Isaac passed the Abrahamic blessing down to Jacob giving him the title “Israel”, it was Jacob Israel’s sons who formed the tribes of Israel, the tribes that Mary and Joseph descended from, just as their son Jesus did ……Esau was very jealous of Jacob, Esau hated him because he felt the blessing was his birthright. Esau’s descendants became the Edomites, and the Edomites became “the jews”. There’s a lot more backstory, like the Edomites conning people into believing they were from the lost tribes, and using the identity theft to claim a sort of royalty status that gave them the opportunity to preach the word of God and build a cult (the Pharisee), but they bastardized the word of God by coupling the Torah with Babylonian magic and rabbinical oral traditions that went against God’s word, traditions that later became known as the Kabbalah and the Babylonian Talmud, which is what we all know of as Judaism nowadays. Ancient Hebrewism was really just Christianity before Christ appeared to expand on his Father’s word in the Torah (God’s word), and to sacrifice himself for our sins just as the Torah prophesied he would. So, no, Jesus was not a jew, he was a Hebrew Israelite, and the jews aren’t Hebrew Israelites, they are basically Satanists, which is why Jesus said to the Pharisee that they were of their father the devil.

This is fanfiction. Esau already had the inheritance as the firstborn. There was nothing to secure. The Bible makes no explicit moral distinction between them being righteous/unrighteous. If one of them is the jew based on pure behavior, it's Jacob 100%. You're leaving out how he actually obtained the birthright.

When Esau is rightfully pissed off and swears vengeance, Jacob flees to Israel—I mean Haran—in order to escape consequences. When Esau eventually finds him, Jacob sends his servants, his wives, and his children ahead of him as human shields in the event that Esau stabs first, asks questions later.

On the off chance that you're not familiar with that term, it's the Christians who believe the Old Testament jews are actually White people *("we wuz Israelites!")* and base their whole worldview on that idea—in an attempt to circumvent the inconvenient universalist teachings that orthodox Christianity is built on. They also believe that the other human races don't descend from Noah, but actually demons or something.
