They love the idea of the country, but refuse to admit any semblance of the country they still see it as, which honestly it never was to begin with, is long gone. It’s a serious issue for “both sides”, but really it really pisses me off when I see it from people who are supposedly “right”. They refuse to admit, and live in the world the way it is instead of the way they wish it was, because if they did, it might make them uncomfortable, and they might actually have to get up off of their ass, and do something.
