This isn't an issue with EVs specifically, it's an issue with proximity based key fobs. Basically any vehicle with bush button start.

Agreed, however purchasing an EV represents an IQ test failure.

No different than getting Covid vaccinated or investing in Blockbuster Video in 2013.
