I have in my mind a scale of food quality.

* GOYSLOP is any food with more than 10 ingredients or ANY ingredient you don't know what it is and you can't buy at the grocery store in its raw form.
* SUSPECT food is anything that has been manufactured. That means they took two or more food products and combined them and maybe applied heat or automated mechanical action. IE, ground beef.
* EDIBLE food is anything that is raw and comes from a farm. It should have dirt in it you need to wash off. Or you have to process it to even begin to use it. IE, primal cuts of meat, boxes of vegetables. Beef fat you need to render to get tallow from. These foods still might be tainted with chemicals you are not comfortable with, but it is likely a small amount that can be removed with a little dish soap and water.
* TRUSTED food is anything where you personally know the farmer, you've been to the farm, and you are very confident that they actually follow the farming practices they claim to follow, and you are fine with what they use. IE, if you've been to a farm where they don't use antibiotics and you know the farmer and he says "We don't use antibiotics" and you've confirmed that there's no antibiotics hiding in his store room and you buy direct from him.

Lab grown meat is one step below GOYSLOP. There is no way you know even half of the ingredients nor do you even understand what processes they are using to combine them. It's exactly the OPPOSITE of what you should be eating.

We all should introduce ourselves to our local farmers and buy direct from them. We should be forming co-ops independently with our immediate neighbors. We should be buying crates of food from farms and then distributing it.
