That's my take on the Epstein thing.

I think the CIA initially had him running a normal honeypot style campaign then MOSSAD recruited him as a double agent. He got into kids and the agencies looked the other way because of the intel he was gathering. Eventually, Russia recruited him and supplied him with most of the girls.

Eventually, the 3-way agent fell a part and he was killed. Now, all the intelligence agencies are working back channels to negotiate with the evidence they have on compromised people to unwind the situation in a way that benefits the 3 groups. Trump is compromised which is why he has seemed like he's owned by Israel and pulled into different directions still, especially with regard to Russia.
