If the average black woman has 2.5 kids, and [roughly 46% of black mothers have children with more than one partner](https://ffcws.princeton.edu/sites/g/files/toruqf4356/files/researchbrief8.pdf), what does that mean? It means that at least 46% (or more) of all black women are sharing the same pool of men. They may not live in the same home, or even share in mutual relations, but they're no less sharing the same men. That makes the black population the largest polygamist community in America.
